Tie compulsory theme
The knot has been broken: not always, but more and more often, company bosses are doing without a tie. This is true even for top bankers.
It’s just a small thing – but one that shows how much the financial industry is changing, too. Once upon a time, the bank clerk, neatly parted and naturally wearing a tie, was supposed to radiate the utmost respectability. Today, banks also want to be tech companies, with top managers who are agile and as dynamic as their Silicon Valley counterparts.
It’s no wonder, then, that not only major banks, but also savings banks and credit unions are visibly saying goodbye to the obligation to wear a tie and are allowing their employees more freedom in their choice of clothing.
