Stefan Hunstein – Actor, presence trainer, artistic sparring partner

Stefan Hunstein is an actor, director, visual artist – and a master of public presence. As a performance coach at Sparkpoint, he brings decades of stage and public speaking experience to help leaders, speakers and artists present themselves clearly, authentically and expressively in front of an audience.

Stefan Hunstein studied acting at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart and has worked continuously since 1982 on the most important stages in the German-speaking world – including the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Burgtheater Vienna, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel Munich as well as the Salzburg Festival and the Ruhrtriennale. In numerous leading roles, often under renowned directors, Stefan Hunstein has deeply internalized the stage as a place of impact – and today translates this knowledge into exclusive coaching sessions.

Stefan Hunstein has been a member of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts since 2003, where he has been Director of the Performing Arts Department since 2021. In addition to his theater work, he has also been active for many years as a visual artist with international exhibitions – including works on public perception, the relationship between the individual and space, voice, body and memory.

In his training courses at Sparkpoint, Stefan Hunstein teaches techniques for a confident, authentic and effective performance – on stage, in front of an audience or on camera. The focus is on: Body language, voice, breathing, presence and expressiveness. His work is not based on tricks, but on attitude – and enables people to be visible and credible in their own way.
