You first have to dare to do that: to present in a StarTrek costume. Chapeau! The viewer becomes curious, has fun! And very importantly, the message is likely to land successfully.
The example shows that it doesn’t always have to be deadly serious to get a message across convincingly. It also shows that the competition for attention (and messages) is getting tougher. It shows, moreover, that presentations for particularly important events must be well prepared – well in the sense of successfully conveying a message; not well in the sense of being 100% grammatically correct.
